TRAYVON MARTIN A RACIST SHOOTING? NO
Louisville, KY – Many people believe that President Obama is a racist and continue to point to the recent Trayvon Martin case as proof. As many know by now Trayvon Martin was a 17-year-old male killed under questionable circumstances by a Neighborhood Block Watch Captain named George Zimmerman. But how does race factor into this?
Initial reports by lamestream media stated this was a white on black hate crime shooting and the sheeple flocked to blame racism as the culprit yet nothing could be further from the truth.
After the initial reports we found that George Zimmerman was not white but hispanic, did this quell the racism arguments? No.
Then we had the usual vultures in Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson show up to exploit the situation for their own 15 minutes of fame, not for the death of Trayvon Martin.
Even former NAACP leader Reverend C.L. Bryant is accusing Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton of “exploiting” the Trayvon Martin tragedy to “racially divide this country.”
The conservative black pastor who was once the chapter president of the Garland, Texas NAACP called Jackson and Sharpton “race hustlers” and said they are “acting as though they are buzzards circling the carcass of this young boy.”
I agree. Jackson, for example, recently said Martin’s death shows how “blacks are under attack” and “targeting, arresting, convicting blacks and ultimately killing us is big business.”
Is President Obama a racist
What was surprising to most is that President Obama himself decided to interject and make statements about the case before all the facts were in. Facts that we still don’t have 100% information on.
It is for this reason that many believe Obama himself played the “race card.”
Who can blame them for that thought?
“If I had a son, he’d look like Trayvon,” Obama said, underscoring how the issue affected him on a personal, and not just a political or legal, level. “I think [Trayvon's parents] are right to expect that all of us as Americans are going to take this with the seriousness it deserves, and we are going to get to the bottom of exactly what happened.”
Many translated that as Obama interjecting himself into this because of the false report of white on black crime.
President Obama did not know Trayvon Martin on a personal level anymore than he knows the thousands who get killed each year on a personal level, so why interject himself into this?
Where was the President the weekend before when in Detroit a 6-year-old child was one of 10 killed by gun violence?
Was it because the crime was black on black crime and did not include a white person? Does the fact that it was black on black crime make it any less tragic that someone was killed? Of course not, so why has the President not discussed that tragedy. It is a valid question.
Even Reverend Bryant, who explores the topic of black-on-black crime in his new film “Runaway Slave,” said people like Jackson and Sharpton are being misleading to suggest there is an epidemic of “white men killing black young men.”
“The epidemic is truly black on black crime,” Bryant said. “The greatest danger to the lives of young black men are young black men.”
With thousands of murders every year where has President Obama been? Has he been talking about each individual case and personalizing it like he has Trayvon’s?
The answer obviously is no.
And that leads to the inevitable thought process by so many that believe President Obama has proven he is a racist. He essentially fueled the fire of the small-minded hate mongers who fall for this rhetoric.
The same small-minded hate mongers that the likes of Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson rely on for their own survival.
What really happened
We may never know the full truth but we do know mainstream has not done a good job on the story and we do know there have been many lies and untruths forwarded before we had any evidence to proceed with. Zimmerman claims he was attacked from behind by Martin.
We have witnesses who back up Zimmerman’s claims that he was the one yelling for help and he was the one on his back being pummeled by Trayvon.
Initial reports stated that Zimmerman was not arrested or charged with the killing of Trayvon Martin. Was it because of witness testimony or because of Zimmerman’s one-sided sequence of events.
This of course was a lie to a degree as well.
Zimmerman was handcuffed, taken to the police station, and questioned. In fact we now know from this article that Zimmerman was indeed brought in.
The special prosecutor in the Trayvon Martin case said that the Sanford Police Department asked the state attorney’s office for an arrest warrant to charge George Zimmerman early in the investigation, but the state’s attorney’s office decided to wait.
The Miami Herald reported that the local police initially went to the Seminole State Attorney with a request to file charges and the police report labeled the case as “homicide/negligent manslaughter.”
Initial reports also showed us a 5-year-old picture of Trayvon as the All American child. Now we find out this picture isn’t a true portrait of Trayvon at the time of the shooting.
We now know that Trayvon was suspended from school three times, was on suspension when he was shot in February, after officials caught him with a ‘marijuana pipe’ and a baggie with drug residue, was kicked out of school in October for graffiti after he was allegedly caught with a ‘burglary tool’ and a bag full of women’s jewelry, and he was also suspended once for skipping school and tardiness.
There are also now rumors that Trayvon hit a bus driver as well.
Not exactly the boy scout image the mainstream media tried to feed us is it?
On the flip side we were shown a mug shot of George Zimmerman of a police arrest and more was to come on his past. Yet today we now know that Zimmerman did not resemble the overweight guy in the mug shot and appeared to be in shape and capable of defending himself.
According to a records search on George, he was previously arrested for domestic violence, resisting an officer without violence and most shockingly, resisting an officer with violence — a felony charge that surely could have landed him in prison.
All three of those arrests were mysteriously closed with no charges brought against Zimmerman.
Why was nothing done about these charges?
Perhaps because George Zimmerman is the son of Robert Zimmerman, a former Orange County magistrate judge.
Video evidence now suggests that Zimmerman was not bloodied and battered as had once again previously been reported thus showing some inconsistencies in his story and making an investigation all the more relevant. But when the lead detective in the case, Chris Serino, found inconsistencies in Zimmerman’s story and sought an arrest warrant he was denied.
The state attorney’s office decided to wait. Why?
Sure sounds a lot like a child of privilege in Zimmerman doesn’t it? No repercussions for one’s misdeeds?
And so the plot thickens.
What we do know
We do know that George Zimmerman was the aggressor in this situation. It began with him following Trayvon as evidenced by his own 911 call. At that point the sequence of events was started.
We do know that Trayvon was certainly no altar boy as mainstream and the race baiters like Sharpton and Jackson would want us to believe.
We do know that this was not white on black crime as the media continued to report from the beginning until they were finally caught in their lies.
What we have here is a lightning keg waiting to be ignited.
A wannabe cop in Zimmerman assuming authority he had no right to assume, and a wannabe thug in Trayvon who was living a life that would lead to trouble. Did Trayvon desrve to die? Of course not but it was inevitable in this situation that someone would be hurt or killed. In this case it was Trayvon.
Anyone who lives in the real world today could see this situation was not one of race but one of ego. Ego has no racial boundaries folks. Two opposing mindsets came together and clashed and there was no stopping it because neither could back down.
For those like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and yes even President Obama to allow this mindset to permeate this individual case is one example of what exactly is wrong with those in power today and the complicit behavior of mainstream media in it.
They themselves need to back down and let the process take place. Their egos will get more people hurt or killed by permeating the lie of this being a racist incident so they can gain from it.
A tragedy? Yes there can be no doubt. A parent lost their 17-year-old son due to violence.
A racist tragedy? No. Sadly this happens everyday in America and rarely is it about race.
We need a gut check in America today and we need to stand firm against the violent and divisive mindset of those who love nothing better than to divide us for their own gain.
Do not be fooled into making this a race issue. Nothing could be further from the truth.
I am content to let all the facts come into evidence and then decide my own mind on what to believe or not to believe.
I don’t need hate mongers like Sharpton or Jackson trying to profit from it. I don’t need a President to get involved in this case I need a President to get involved in all cases equally.
I hope you agree…..
